I think exercising, or exercise equipment, is currently the height of hipster irony. I am eagerly awaiting the day, 30 years from now when exhipsters start dropping like flies from heart disease.

sam, at one time i definitely would have agreed with you…but i’ve spent so much time listening to and loving depressing music that the thermals’ super-earnestness/cheerfulness gets to me in a good way. they’ll never replace my well-worn copies of the cure’s faith and 17 seconds, but lately, i’ve been into happy stuff. shhh. don’t tell anyone.
