initial details have been confirmed about jarvis cocker’s debut solo album!
the album, titled (unsurprisingly) jarvis, will be released on rough trade november 13, 2006. as yet, it is unknown whether the current online “single” featured on jarvspace, “running the world”, will be included on the album.
a handful of tour dates have also been set, though only in europe thus far.
october 4 & 5 - dublin, point theatre
october 21 - london, barbican hall
november 12 - paris, la cigale
november 15 - london, KOKO
november 16 - london, roundhouse

although admittedly, if i were jarvis cocker, i would think i was the shit, too. because like, he is. but he should at least act likes he’s not! we all already know!
