I am going to defer a full review to a talented writer, but until that time, I offer you my one sentence review - despite Scarlett Johansson’s new album being subpar, due it deriving completely from a mix of all her favorite artists, much like a concoction of all your favorite sodas at the McDonald’s fountain…I’d still do her.

Zooey Deschanel:
(arguably) hotter. undeniably a better singer. wrote her own songs (even if M. Ward helped.)
As far as hotness goes: Scarlett Johansson > Zooey Deschanel. No doubt about it. Musically, it might be a little different, but its not even close with looks.

You make it sound like I have to choose one. Neither of those girls is getting kicked out of my bed for recording something on par with Jimmy Buffet, although Zooey might get cab fare home afterwards.
