Broadcast straight from the top-secret Eric Bachmann headquarters, exact location unknown:
Eric’s heading out to the frigid Northeast to warm your nights supporting Neko Case.
He’ll also be headlining his very own show at Southpaw.01/25 Tarrytown, NY @ Tarrytown Music Hall
01/26 Ithaca, NY @ The State Theater
01/27 Burlington, VT @ Higher Ground Ballroom
01/30 Brooklyn, NY @ Southpaw
01/31 Albany, NY @ The Egg
02/01 Providence, RI @ Lupo’s
02/02 Northampton, MA @ Calvin TheaterAll shows will be solo, get it while you can!
You probably know Eric from his early 90’s band Archers of Loaf, which ROCKED, or his fortunately-still-together-but-unfortunately-not-recording-or-something band Crooked Fingers, which also rock in a totally neil diamond/bruce springsteen kind of way. Well, his solo album To the Races, which came out in 2006 on (gulp) Saddle Creek isn’t bad either.
My point here is that he kind of sucks for not touring past the Northeast so I can see him again. That is all.

What was the straw that broke Connor’s back? Seriously, i must know.
Clearly, it was the loss of Winona Ryder. It sent them both into a tailspin.

As i get older, the number of people who know him as “the guy from Crooked Fingers” outnumbers those who know him as “The guy from Archers of Loaf” by greater and greater numbers. And despite my love for Crooked Fingers, that makes me sad.
